Kirunas most beatiful viewpoint & stunning heights

See the mine, Kebnekaise, parts of Kiruna city & the ski slopes at Luossavaara.
I will tell you a little about both the mine and the city move,
through my eyes and childhood memories.

This tour is suitable for adults interested in history, nature & photography.
Make sure you dress warmly with layers, warm shoes, gloves and a sturdy hat.
I don’t recommend this tour for children 0-12.

We visit the finest viewpoint in Kiruna.
From there we can see the mine, Kebnekaise, parts of Kiruna city and the ski slopes.

If you are NOT afraid of heights, we can, for an additional fee of 75 SEK/person,
go up with the chairlift to the top of Luossavaara, weather permitting.
In clear weather, we can see ALL of Kiruna and also Jukkasjärvi.

If you ARE afraid of heights, there is the opportunity to downslope at the large parking lot or have something good to enjoy at Café Sport.

When we are done there, we take a closer look at the old town, where I show some pictures from the old days, we stop and look at Kiruna church and then continue towards the new Kiruna center.

We take a nice walk, and check out some of Kiruna’s oldest local shops, and
where some of the moved buildings stand today.

We will end the whole thing at the clocktower outside the city hall at 6:00 PM,
when the tower plays a melody, before I drive you back to your accommodation.
